The Motorola Symbol MiniScan MS22xx Fixed Mount Barcode Scanner offers four scan patterns - including omni-directional - for rapid capture of bar codes and symbols. This versatility minimizes the need for precise positioning of linear 1D bar codes, allowing even novice users to effectively scan data.
The "smart" raster pattern excels at reading 2D symbols, even those that are poorly printed or low-contrast. Ruggedly constructed, this device is ideal for such applications as kiosks, ATMs, assembly lines and point-of-sale devices. The MS22xx fixed mount scanner is also available as a scan engine (SE2223), which allows for a smaller size and lower product costs.
